So here we are 16 Days into the month and I have made great progress in 3 of my wips. Got a start on  French Filigree from Heaven and Earth Designs.

French Filigree:  I have changed the second colour from the  pink in the pattern to a light purple, that goes with my bedroom colours. This is stitching up quickly.
First photo is starting point and second is the progress made so far this month. completed 2 pages out of 30.

I have also been working on another heaven and earth design "Dusty Rose" have achieved lots on this also, just about completed the top row.

First photo is starting point and second is where I got to.

I also managed to get a wip finished. My first Granddaughter is due towards the end of this month and I have stitched this for her. It is Rosebud lullaby by Nora Corbett from the little stitches series, by Mirabilia.

I feel that I have accomplished a lot over the last couple of weeks. Looking forward to more stitching for the rest of the month.

By for now

Starting this blogging adventure

5 October 2016
Welcome to my blog, I have been cross stitching for over 30 years and have decided it is time to share my passion for this craft. I learnt to cross stitch at school when I was 10 and have loved it ever since. I like to stitch on a variety of projects at the same time.

I am currently working on "Dusty Rose" artwork by Enamorte , design from Heaven and Earth Designs Inc. this is a retired pattern.

Image of what she will look like once complete. I started her on January 1 2015

My progress as of Wednesday 28th September 2016. I have set myself a goal of achieving the top two rows finished by the end of the year. She is being stitched on 18 count aida using 2 threads over 1.

Its raining today, a few jobs to do this morning then  I plan to stitch on her some more this afternoon.
