I have decided to do the year of wips challenge gain this year, as I enjoy the challenge of focusing on a group of wips to completion each year. The challenge is run by Soulful stitchers, from face book.
Here are the 20 pieces that I wish to complete this year:
Dusty Rose a retired chart from Heaven and Earth Designs - goal is for 11 pages.
Black and White Garden Needle keep, Hands on Designs
Peacock Garden, Linen and threads mystery sal 2019
Aida Garden Fairy - Mirabilia
Red House Sampler - The Sampler Company
Mailhat D'Auvergne (Christmas Reindeer) - Renato Parolin
Count Twice - Plum street Samplers
Barnyard Kitties - Dimensions
Tis the Season - Blackbird Designs
Royal Holiday - Mirabilia
Once I had Decided on my wips for the year. They decided to put up in the group - Extreme challenge 1 = take your birthday date and add that many wips to the challenge. So since I have a ton of wips ( and more that I want to stitch) . I am doing this as well. My birthday is on the 14th of the month, so 14 more projects.
1: Peacock Tree - Burda Magazine 1986
2: Grandmother Fairy - Lavender and Lace
3:Antique Sampler - Fanny Harris Sampler
4: Garden Party - Paula Vaughan
5: Cookies for Santa - Shannon Wasilieff
6: Farmhouse Christmas - Little house needleworks
7: Prairie Life Sampler - Heartstring Samplery
9: A Flock of Birds - blackbird designs
10: Reindeer's Winter - Thistles
11: Petal Pincushion - Mani di Donna
12:Brick House Sampler - Brenda Gervais
13:EMS project 2008 - Rose Sampler
14: A Needlewoman's Notes - Abby Rose Designs
So as you can see, lots of planned stitching to be complected this year.
Then I looked around at all my other wips and wanted to stitch on them, so I have decided to have my car stitching as ornaments this year. I have a bag in the car with 10 ornaments in it. and try to do a thread each morning before work if possible.
My French Filigree design from Heaven and Earth designs, I have decided to not put on my year of wips list this year, but have set a challenge to do one thread everyday.
Lets see how far we can get.
Stitch the things you Love
